We have a Reference department where you may use atlases, dictionaries, encyclopedias, and many other books or online sources. We also make available a regional computerized card catalog and information database called CONNECT, which can be used on one of our nine terminals in the library or from your own home or office computer.
PROGRAMS -- We have story hour, craft, and entertainment programs for young people, and programs on current topics, history, and literature for adults in our meeting room. we deliver books to residents who are homebound. We have varied exhibits in our display space inside and outside the building.

From popular materials, to support for residents in their formal education, to serving as a gateway to reading for our youngest citizens, the Wethersfield Public Library has been dedicated for more than 250 years to providing information and entertainment for the enjoyment and education of the Wethersfield community.

As part of the Wethersfield Library's policy of providing information services to our community, we are pleased to have a presence on the Internet.. The Internet is a network of networks that spans most of our known world. The library does not have control over the contents of these networks and patrons should be aware that there is no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or currency with materials found on the Internet.
