The Friends of the Wethersfield Library, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the support of the Wethersfield Library through fundraising and advocacy.
Fall Book Sale!
At the Library
Saturday, November 1, 10 am- 4 pm
Sunday, November 2, 1 - 4 pm
Hundreds of books in different categories. Special sections for children, biography, cookbooks, and many older out-of-print treasures.
ON SUNDAY – BUY A BAG FOR $5.00 AND FILL IT!!
(All proceeds go to the library) We thank all Wethersfield residents who have donated these books.
The Friends enjoyed a successful day at the Cornfest!
What We Do
Support the Children’s Summer Reading Program.
Assist in planning and implementing fundraising activities.
Fully fund the Museum Pass program.
Raise funds for items not provided for in the regular library budget to enhance library services and collections.
Conduct book sales.
Promote the services of the library and emphasize its value to the community.
Fund Universal Class.
Underwrite job skills programs.
