Library Policies:
Tutoring Policy
Revised August 24, 2010
Tutors who are using the Library are encouraged to meet with their students in one of the Library study rooms. The Library study rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis for two hours at a time. Reservations will not be made for specific meeting or study rooms for tutoring. If a study room is not available, tutors are encouraged to use the booths.
Tutors and their students must comply with all rules, guidelines and procedures governing behavior in the Library. Tutors must keep their voices down so as not to disturb others using the Library. Students must be under their tutor’s supervision at all times. All arrangements must be made between the tutor, student and parents.
Tutors and those being tutored are encouraged to have a valid library card.
The Wethersfield Library does not sponsor, recommend, or assume liability or responsibility for the work and/or activities of tutors who use Library space. Tutors may not publish or distribute advertisement or letters identifying the Library as their place of doing business or imply Library sponsorship of their activities.
