The Wethersfield Library now provides "Book Club in A Bag” to book groups.
The library currently offers a selection of 9 book club titles. Each is packaged in a tote bag.
They are available for loan to individuals representing local book groups.
Each bag contains 10 copies of a book, discussion questions for the book, author biography and tips for conducting a successful book discussion.
How to Borrow a Book Club in a Bag:
One member of the group borrows the bag for the group with his or her library card.
That patron is responsible for distributing the books to the group members and for returning all
books after the discussion. A sign out sheet is included in the bag so the group can keep track of the books.
• Bags may be checked out for six weeks. They are not renewable.
• No more than 1 bag may be borrowed at one time by a book club.
• The replacement cost of individual parts of a bag is $10 per item or replacement of the lost book with a paperback copy.
• The Book Club bag must be returned with all its contents at the same time.
• Bags must be returned inside the Library (please do not put them in the book drop or return them to another library).
• You may reserve only one bag by calling the Adult Information Service Desk at
