Princess Tales: Enchanting tales about princesses and royalty!

 

Word of the Month

Cacodoxy

Define the word and where it originated.  All work must be completed in the library using library materials – no computers.  If your answer is correct, you will be entered into a drawing to win a free large, plain pizza from Village Pizza.

FAMILY CONCERT WITH STEVE ROSLONEK OF STEVESONGS

Outdoor lawn concert @ the Community Center (near the basketball court). In the event of rain, the concert will be held at the Silas Deane Middle School and tickets will be required.

Registration for residents begins Monday, June 3, 2013

6:30pm: READY, SET… READ, MATH, SCIENCE: 4-6 year olds

Specially designed activities that make reading, math, or science come alive (topics alternate each week). Registration is required and begins June 3rd for residents and June 14th for non-residents.

10:30am-11:30am: BOOKWORM  BABIES: Birth-24 months

Sensory play with a story and song at 11:00am. (no registration required)

5:00pm: “READING ROCKS” MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S READ & ROCK

A reading celebration for Wethersfield school students and their families! Arrive @ 5pm; flash mom/videotaping begins promptly @ 5:30pm; Picnic supper and book swap to follow. Please leave your picnic supper and books to swap in your car until videotaping is complete. 2nd graders (entering 3rd grade) please come dressed as your favorite book character.
