Define the word and where it originated. All work must be completed in the library using library materials – no computers. If your answer is correct, you will be entered into a drawing to win a free large, plain pizza from Village Pizza.

BOOK BINGO

January 3, 2017- March 31, 2017

Birth-6th graders

Looking for something to do this winter? Join our Winter Reading Program!

Register beginning Tuesday, December 27th to receive your BINGO playing card and stamp (while supplies last). Begin reading Tuesday, January 3, 2017.

Each time you read a book, stamp the corresponding BINGO square.

Complete a BINGO and win a prize!

TAKE YOUR CHILD TO THE LIBRARY DAY

10:00-3:00: FANDOM FUN: Complete activities based on superheroes.

 

11:00: MUSIC MAKERS: Family style movement class for children birth-3.

Registration is required and begins Friday, January 13th for residents and Wednesday, February 1st for nonresidents.

 

12:00-2:00: FACE PAINTING: all ages

 

2:00: ELEANOR BUCK WOLF NATURE CENTER VISIT: children of all ages will interact with and learn about different animals from Wethersfield’s Nature Center. Registration is required and begins Friday, January 13th for residents and Wednesday, February 1st for nonresidents.

Family Place PLAY & GROW: Parent-Child Workshops

Each week, families can enjoy a stimulating, educational, and fun place to play & visit with resource professionals who will answer questions and provide information about a variety of parenting topics.

and Wednesday, February 22, 2017 for nonresidents
