10:30am-noon: TOUCH-A-TRUCK

Climb on board to explore town vehicles which MAY include a backhoe; bulldozer; bobcat; dump truck; police car; fire engine and more. Free event! No registration is required. Event will be held in the upper parking lot of the Silas Deane Middle School. Park at the library and walk over!

6:30pm: BUBBLEMANIA! Summer Reading Grand Finale!

@ the Silas Deane Middle School Auditorium

Casey Carle will entertain audiences with a fun and mesmerizing show! Laugh out loud and be amazed as he creates bubbles of all sizes, from giant spheres to small cubes!

Also appearing 5 "Mad Scientists" (Elementary School principals)

July 8th: Boom!: Find out more about volcanoes and work in teams to erupt your own volcano!

July 15th: Ooze: Learn all about how animals use slime to help them move and protect themselves. Whip up your own batch of slime to bring home.

July 22nd: Presto: Learn to identify animals at different stages of their lives and meet some frogs, salamanders, and bugs.

July 29th: Zip: Learn all about how animals use movements to catch food or avoid becoming a meal!

August 5th: Splat: Explore how paper wasps make nests by creating their own paper, and then make your own out of recycled newspaper.

August 12th: Ick! Examine 'scat' models and see what's inside a real owl pellet!
