Creating a Desktop Shortcut to the Wethersfield Public Library


  • Open your browser to the library website (www.wethersfieldlibrary.org).
  • Left click once in the address line to highlight the address.
  • Choose Edit, Copy (Ctrl C is also copy).
  • Minimize your web browser.
  • Right click anywhere on an open space on your desktop.
  • Choose New, Shortcut from the menu.
  • In the location box, press Ctrl V to paste the website address, then Next.
  • Give the shortcut a name and press Finish.

The Internet is a network of networks that spans most of our known world. The library does not have control over the contents of these networks and patrons should be aware that there is no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or currency with materials found on the Internet.
