The Friends of the Wethersfield Library, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the support of the Wethersfield Library through fundraising and advocacy.
Friends Current Events
January 2025 Puzzle Sale
Looking for something to do in January? Come to the Friends of the Wethersfield Library puzzle sale! There will be a great variety of puzzles, CDs and games – all at very reasonable prices. Pick up a few puzzles or games to pass the time on those chilly winter days.
Please join us:
- Saturday, January 11 from 10am – 3pm
(Snow date: Saturday January 25 from 10am – 3pm) - Located at the library on the lower level.
- Cash, checks and credit cards accepted.
The Friends of the Wethersfield Library organize and run a variety of sales to fund library programs and events. We thank all Wethersfield residents who have donated items and all those who attend and support our events.
What We Do
- Support the Summer Reading Program.
- Assist in planning and implementing fundraising activities.
- Fully fund the Museum Pass program.
- Raise funds for items not provided for in the regular library budget to enhance library services and collections.
- Conduct book sales.
- Promote the services of the library and emphasize its value to the community.
- Underwrite life skills programs.
Reasons to Join
We are library users who believe the library is a wonderful resource in our community. Being a Friend is a great way to show our support. Be part of a diverse group interested in our town’s Library.
